The Bioverse Foundation is a private charitable trust established to fund scientific research on cellular dynamics, cellular cognition, morphogenesis, and infectious disease dynamics.
The Foundation is currently funding an innovative research project at Tufts University at the laboratory of Michael Levin, Vannevar Bush Professorship, The School of Arts and Sciences, and Professor of Biomedical Engineering. The study explores how multicellular organisms template biological form and function, focusing on bioelectric fields, molecular genetics, and computational modeling. Potential applications of this novel research include a deeper understanding of regeneration, embryogenesis, developmental plasticity, and cancer.
